Hello there!

My name is Maximilian and I’m a photographer based in Cologne, Germany.

I discovered my love for photography during a city trip to Budapest in 2015.

The main purpose of my photography is to share the vastness and depths of our world with you, especially the unique nature we still have. Why this is so important? More obvious than ever, our world is facing a constant loss of natural heritage. More and more trees are being uprooted. Rainforests are becoming scorched earth. Mountains of plastic are drifting through our oceans. Animals are being killed by illegal hunting. Those are just a few examples that make a significant impact on our natural world. Therefore, my pictures aim at showing people our fascinating, versatile and unique nature that we as humans should preserve.

“Only a few pleasures are greater than those found in nature.”
